Scientific–technical journal ‘Vestnik Rostovskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta Putey Soobshcheniya’ (Vestnik RGUPS) has been issued since 1999.
“Vestnik RGUPS” was registered at State Committee of the Russian Federation for Press on August 27th, 1998, registration certificate number 018074.
The journal has International Standard Serial Number (ISSN 0201-727X), assigned by the Russian Book Chamber on September 25th, 2000.
The founder and publisher of the journal is federal state budgetary educational institution of higher vocational training Rostov State Transport University (FSBED HE RSTU).
Editor-in-chief – academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.I. Kolesnikov.
The editorial board consists of leading scientists of RSTU and other transport and academic universities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic and France.
The journal is published 4 issues per year (quarterly) with the edition of 500 copies.
Since April 2004 “Vestnik RGUPS” has been included in the ‘List of scientific and scientific – technical periodicals, issued in the Russian Federation and where the basic research results of candidate and doctorate dissertations are recommended to be published’.
The journal was included in all the following editions of the List.
The issues of «Vestnik RGUPS» are distributed to all higher educational institutions of the branch, as well as institutions of Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, central and regional scientific and technical libraries and also scientific research institutions of information.
