Abstract
In modern industrial production, drilling machines play an important role in the processing of various materials. It has been established that the operation of drilling machines is accompanied by the generation of a significant level of noise, which can negatively affect the health and performance of operators, as well as the environment. A study is aimed at stud ying the characteristics of noise generated by drilling machines in order to develop effective measures to reduce noise exposure. The article presents the results of experimental studies of the noise spectra of drilling machines, carried out under various technological loads, which is confirmed by theoretical conclusions about the patterns of formation of vibroacoustic characteristics of machines. The main sources of noise are determined and effective measures to reduce noise exposure are developed. The implementation of the proposed measures will improve the working conditions of drilling machine operators and reduce the negative impact of noise.
